Quotes from customers

✍ Family music quiz

Helen booked singer-songwriter DG Solaris to do the music round at her weekly family quiz. She said: “It was such a laugh. Danny fitted seamlessly into our strange family banter!”

He played the intros to 5 different songs and people had to guess the artist and song title. “We chose songs from his repertoire that we knew people from different generations would recognise. His acoustic covers were spot on!” 😁

🎈 83rd Birthday

Simone booked cellist Abi Hyde-Smith to perform two of her grandma Mag’s favourite pieces by Mozart & Purcell for her Birthday.

Mags, 83, said: “That was such a memorable birthday. Amazing ❤. So many thanks Abi! I’m on cloud nine ⭐ What a birthday I’ve had 😀”

🎁 30-something Birthday

Chiara booked singer-songwriter Ant Henderson for her friend Ludo’s 30-something-th birthday. He chose some classic tunes.

His favourite from the gig was Baba O'Riley by the Who. But he also loved listening to Ant perform Handbags and Gladrags and Drift Away 🎸

🏡 House warming gift

Alex booked violinist Marie Schreer as a housewarming gift for a friend. He said: "It was great. We had two pieces and they were beautiful. It was so special to have live music piped into your home"

"My friends had moved into a new house; we couldn’t meet in person due to the lockdown and I wanted to give them something that wasn’t the usual booze as a present. Music into their new home seemed a perfect gift." 🎁

🧙Harry Potter themed birthday quiz

Brian booked cellist Abi Hyde-Smith to play the Harry Potter theme tune for his wife’s surprise virtual birthday party with 14 of her friends and family.

They had a Harry Potter themed celebration, including a quiz, and she absolutely loved it. Brian said it was “Magical!” of course 😜
