First Signs of Spring Concert

We are welcoming spring by putting on a open concert. Come join us for uplifting live music from three wonderful acts.

What is this event?
A celebration of the arrival of Spring, a long weekend (for some) and Lockdown Presents hitting the milestone of 500 virtual concerts! Since our concerts are usually private, we wanted to share an open concert with everyone so you can get a taste of the Lockdown Presents' experience and we can celebrate together.

There'll be approximately 45 minutes of music from 3 wonderful acts; Helen Newby on the cello, Sam Cobb singing, and Patricia Hammond & Matt Redman, a fabulous acoustic duo! We'll leave time for 15 mins of Q&A at the end and a chance to meet the artists.

Invite your family and friends to join us, the more the merrier. For anyone who's been thinking about a Lockdown Presents concert but not got round to booking one, this is a great chance to see what we're all about!

New York City, USA

Helen is a cellist & arranger based in New York City. She loves to write and perform multi-cello arrangements of pop songs (in addition to your more standard classical fare). She's performed with Kygo & Michael Buble, among others.

Sam is a Soprano based in London and has a busy career performing across the UK and around the world. Though Classically-trained, Sam loves music from a huge range of musical genres, from jazz, to folksong and beyond!
