Profile

Background

David plays fiddle with Novo Amor and Darren Eedens and the Slim Pickin's, as well as composing and writing for theatre. Annie works as a woodwind tripler in musical theatre, plays as a freelancer for BCO and BSO and performs in bands such Uisge Contraband and James Bower's Power Hour. Both David and Annie play in folk bands together, perform in a classical trio (now mostly doing outreach work) and both record for artists such as Toby Hay and Hailaker.

Repertoire

When most people book, they opt to let the musician create the listening experience based on the details you provide, but you can also peruse the musician's repertoire below if you would like something specific.

Original music and trad tunes from all over the UK (Celtic: Scots, Irish, Welsh), Scandinavian and Klezmer too (so many to choose from!) We also perform pieces from our classical trio days including Milhaud, Stravinsky, Khachaturian, Watson and more, and would be happy to mix in themes such as 'Braveheart' or Grieg's 'Morning', from our community work repertoire.
